In Memoriam

The antique radio community has lost two very influential men in recent weeks.

Rich Estes, that many know from the monthly radio auction in Medina passed away early this week. He was very involved in the radio community and we all have a radio that Rich Estes called the auction on in our collection.

Alan Douglass who died November 15, authored a 3 volume Radio Manufacturers of the 1920’s book and was very active with Antique Radio Forum, etc and another heavy hitter in antique radios.

Rest in Peace

Note that this new venue offers on site camping if you register with the facility.    Several motels are at the freeway exit.
There is a great vintage car museum in Kzoo too,  seewww.thegilmore.com  for info on that.

September Club Swap Meet

Be sure to attend our fall swap meet, it is located at 4686 East Walnut St. in Westerville, just east of the Hoover reservoir. The date is September 12th 2015 from 8AM till 11AM. This venue has proven to be a fine place for a swap meet. There is a covered area with bathrooms and electric available.

This past spring we had a good number of sellers and the event was well attended. Be sure come out and visit with antique radio enthusiasts and find some bargains.

Please note that Google Maps and the map on your iPhone have trouble with E. Walnut street as the Hoover reservoir cuts it off. Off of Sunbury rd. take Central College across the lake. Make a left on Cubbage, then right on Walnut.
