Reminder – 3rd Wednesday evening 7:15 pm Aug 16 for the club meeting at the Westerville Library, Conference Room B. On State Street, a couple blocks South of UpTown Westerville.
Street address is Westerville Library at 126 South State St, Westerville. (State St is Ohio Route 3). Newly expanded parking behind the library.
From I-270 Exit 29, S.R. #3 is State St – turn right (North) at the ramp light. drive about 1/2 mile towards Up Town Westerville.
Parking – at the Walnut traffic (the Sunoco Station), , turn east 1/2 block to Library sign, turn left.

– Education – the Detector – how the audio is taken from the selected radio station broadcast frequency.
– Recent radio event attended and upcoming radio events of interest.
– Final planning for the club Vintage Electronics tailgate event coming up Saturday morning September 9. The Early Television Foundation is participating..
– “Show & Tell” – bring a radio or related item to share and discuss.
– The usual general discussion of topics of interest: restoration or service issues.

The large church parking is “L” shaped … and also a large adjacent shelter house with tables and electricity…and adjacent restroom.
From Columbus I-270 outer belt, take exit 30 to Rt -161 EAST and then exit Immediate right to SUNBURY ROAD.
Turn right at ramp light (North) and go 1.5 mile to CENTRAL COLLEGE RD (at Duke/BP gas station). Turn Right.
Follow Central College Rd 1/2 mile to CUBBAGE RD and turn left and follow 1 mile to end, turn right onto WALNUT ST.
Church in on the left in 1/4 mile.
April 19 Club Meeting
April 19th COARA Meeting Room Reserved at Karl Road branch of the Columbus Public Library – 7:30 to 9 pm
From I-71 exit 117 Rt 161-Dublin-Granville Rd turn East. Drive about a quarter mile to the light at Karl RD, rerun Right.
The Library It is quarter mile or so south of Rt-161 at 5590 Karl Rd, Columbus, OH 43229. East side of the street.
Brad Buck suggested we try a Library for our club meeting and he will present the education topic.

December Meeting
The December meeting was at the home of Thom Flak and was also the annual Christmas party. The party was well attended and a very good time. It was proposed that meetings be held bi-monthly from now on instead of quarterly. The proposition passed, and the club thought about items of interest for upcoming meetings.
Feb. 15th Club Meeting
The Feb 15, 2017 meeting at Donatos Pizza at 8961 Polaris Parkway, From I-71 exit #121 Polaris Pkwy. and turn West. (from Columbus that is a left turn) Travel West about 2 miles, past the big shopping center Polaris Fashion Place and then just past S. Old State Rd. Donatos Pizza is visible on the right at Cameron Ave.
COARA Club Holiday Party RSVP Today!
Mark your calendar for Saturday December 10 – starting 6 pm until 10 pm.
The club Christmas party will be hosted by Thom Flak at his home. This party replaces the usual third Wednesday quarterly meeting.The club will provide pizza around 7 pm. There will also be some basic pop and munchies provided.
Those attending are encouraged to bring a snack item to share and is BYOB.
Thom’s home is a couple miles north of the OSU & west of the Olentangy River.
Directions:
From St RT 315 expressway,
take HENDERSON RD exit & turn west (away from the river) and follow over 1 mile and under the railroad bridge to Kenney Rd.
At KENNY RD, turn left .. and go SOUTH just past the commercial area, and take the first left – KENDALE RD.
Follow a short block to the first street turn right on KENMONT PL.
Follow KENMONT PL to address 4289 KENMONT PL. on the right. (Look for the club SWAP Meet sign in the front yard.

COARA is teaming up with the Early Television Museum in Hilliard, Oh. for our fall swapmeet! We are looking forward to hosting this event with the museum and meeting like minded vintage electronic enthusiasts.
Fall Vintage Electronics Tailgate Meet, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 4686 E. Walnut St.,Westerville, OH, on Saturday morning Sept 24. Set up at 7 am and event starting at 8 am to end by 11 am.
